Tazha Williams Art

Tazha Williams is a multifaceted artist: painter, drummer, poet and social justice advocate. She creates in order to share messages of self-healing and radical self-expression.

Tazha Williams Art enjoys providing for her people: Black and Brown, young, old, queer, straight, regardless of physical and cognitive abilities. As a Queer Black Woman herself, she knows how important it is that we tell our own narratives. Painting portraits of folks in her community (including self-portraits), Tazha focuses on the empowerment of folks with marginalized identities who are underrepresented in art and in society. Her work has been featured in the San Diego Union Tribune, on The Today Show and on KUSI news. Tazha draws inspiration from being active in her community, nature, yoga, writing and meditation.”
