Communion Counseling and Consulting, LLC

Communion Counseling and Consulting, LLC is attachment-based therapy which uses the principles of interpersonal neurobiology and cognitive behavioral therapy to support Women and Femmes of Color in their deep healing.

I am a therapist, facilitator and public speaker. I obtained a Master’s of Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, in 2000, and have been a licensed clinical social worker since 2007.  I’ve worked in community mental health and private practice, diversity training, quality improvement, mentoring, higher education and research.

In my counseling practice, I use interpersonal neurobiology and cognitive behavioral therapy as my primary modes of helping clients heal.

My spiritual inspirations include A Course in Miracles, A Course of Love, Right Use of WIll, the work of Byron Katie, the poems of Hafiz translated by Daniel Ladinsky, the works of Sadhguru and other non-dualistic metaphysical teachings.
