Theotis Cason puts a premium on flavor and fresh, all-natural products. With more than 35 years of meat-cutting experience, Cason has built his business on positive word of mouth and customers that keep coming back. His meat products are locally sourced – beef from Oregon Natural Meat, pork from Carlton Farms, chicken from Draper Valley – raised without added hormones, chemicals or additives.
Cason is the owner/operator of Cason’s Fine Meats, previously located in the historic Kenton District and coming soon to Alberta Commons in Northeast Portland.
His philosophy is simple: provide good flavor and you’ll make people happy. “You taste my barbecue, ribs or chicken, my natural meat, it sells itself – you’ll come back. I’ve been able to feed my family and a lot of other families, and that’s given me great satisfaction,” he says. “That’s what we’re about here at Cason’s.”
