HUE NOIR was founded by Paula Hayes, a product development chemist and long-time makeup fan. Like many women of color, Paula often had trouble matching foundation to her skin tone, and she found the lipsticks, eye shadows, and blushes in her color range uninspiring. She was also increasingly concerned about the complex chemicals found in many beauty products.
With encouragement from friends and family, Paula spent four years researching and developing the Hue Noir line, meticulously designing and testing formulas until she got the exact blends, colors, textures and high-quality products she was seeking. Hue Noir’s goal is to enhance your natural beauty.
